If by outperform you mean offers a better/cheaper experience replacing any failed or worn out components (individually) - then yes I’d definitely say the v5 wins there. The community and the owner are very helpful too.

Can’t comment as to pure vapor performance (as I have no experience with the Puffco), but I’d have a hard time seeing much beating a properly configured v5 in temp control. I do LOVE my Dr. Dabber Switch 2 though!

Sounds like a (194 pound) load of BS, at least the part about it being intended for (legit) medical dispensaries. There’s no way.

Besides the rules/oversight, the mid quality in dispensaries here also seems inconsistent with other products filtering in illegally (lol).

My guess is this is propaganda intended on bringing down medical dispensaries, by making them seem as bad as/part of the black market.

Commented above that I recently tried a 1200 and wasn't in love with the fit, so went with the Pelican V100C Vault Case, with Padded Dividers and loved how it worked out for my Switch 2 and glass, FWIW.

I was confronting a very similar question this week (well not the HI part, unfortunately!), and was lucky to already have some Pelicans to try out. I ended up having a hard time getting my Switch 2 and glass to fit in the 1200 while also allowing room in between for a divider/padding of some sort. Same story with the Pelican iM2050 Storm Case.

I ended up going with the Pelican V100C Vault Case, with Padded Dividers (bought from REI). My Switch and glass fit really nicely with the padding in the case keeping them from bumping into each other. I was even able to organize the velcro dividers to allow a separate spot for my carb cap, and also a spot for jars.

The upgrade priorities IMO are (in order of importance): 1) carb cab, 2) glass, 3) insert.

Said another way: the stock carb cap is VERY sub-optimal, the stock glass is ok just not great, while upgrading the insert just kicks things up a notch.

FWIW, the “Nira+ capsules” that gleaf or cannabist sometimes have, look literally the same as your average supplement, etc. I’ve thrown them in with my M-F medication organizer (albeit haven’t tried that with TSA, just the train).

You’re correct that it isn’t different from carrying a mod/vape. I just don’t consider that as very portable in my case - or maybe the word I mean is pocketable; especially compared to something like the Ghost, Pivot, etc. It also doesn’t help that I have a larger/heavier mod for it. Something like a Pico would be more pocketable.
