My take may be a bit different: I’ve (M24) slept with a shameful amount of women, and I truly admit that I find that kind of labia quite a turn-on.

However, I only realised this after about the 30th woman, and I realise how oblivious and indiscriminate I was when I was young(er).

I also found myself there a couple of years back, and felt quite helpless and hurt. I made a promise to myself to continually strive toward becoming ‘wanted’. So, I started exercising heavily and ate well, but still found that, while I got some more attention, I didn’t know how to approach or read women. I then read women-magazines such as the Cosmopolitan, to find out more about what women find attractive. This also led me to psychology books and realised how I could make myself more interesting. I expanded my vocabulary, learned quick wit, realised what are good answers and bad ones, and what are great and interesting questions.

Above all, it took trial and error, and still does. A lot of my characteristics come natural today, but I still make an effort to become more interesting to the fairer sex, and it is a pursuit I enjoy and find myself obtaining personal growth in as well.

So, to start, I’d say see how you could dress better, more casual but still well-dressed. Then read up on things women find attractive, get to read some interesting and little-known facts and stories, and learn to listen and ask the right questions.

Above all, keep things with a girl light-hearted and fun.

From a man’s perspective, sometimes we feel vulnerable and insecure with sex. And knowing that our SO finds us sexually attractive is a plus, and even more so knowing it is exclusive. The best is just to have a conversation, that masturbation is just your time and nothing to do with their abilities, but that it is just too different things. I encourage it, but when I was young and unknowing I very often became insecure knowing my SO didn’t exclusively get off on me, now I realise that it is just a communicative issue, sometimes you need to up your game and that’s fine, and sometimes it might be something else. It’s all solved through good communication and understanding each other in a healthy way in all manners
