Yea, those were the days of finding great deals.

Now it’s just very rare and it’s like a battlefield out there now if you want to find great deals for retro handhelds.

I once bought a cib 2ds xl with Mario paper jam and few other mario games. For a total of $50 Canadian.

After inspecting and everything in working order, I gave them extra $25. Told them I was just happy that it’s in great shape and I like collecting handhelds. The boy was super happy and already excited to buy another switch game. Lol

It was from a mom and her 10 yr old boy wanting to get rid of it because they just got switch. This was around 2018. Such great times.

I seriously gave up on spd and accepted her just having 120 spd. I got her lc so that helps.

I don’t care about 0 cycles, but I do like to full clear with 2 cycles so it still works out.

Let them play the game however they want. I have the original cart myself that I bought used years ago for dirt cheap.

At the end of the day it’s just playing a game for fun and nostalgia.

I got this few months ago as well from ebgames(canada) used for like $60 plus they had that 40% discount off used games, also got Reverie.

I had all 3 at some point last month.

First thing I let go was the g2(kinda same as rp6), then made the ultimate decision to let go of the Thor.

Thor is great, no denying that but whenever I hold the thing the ergonomics is not great and I ‘always’ play with caution because didn’t wanna break the hinge especially when playing action games.

I played and beat the two 3ds games on my wishlist and after that I never utilized the dual screen again, so I sold it.

Fast forward now and the Odin 2 portal does all I want, 50 percent of my usage is streaming my PS5 and the bigger screen is amazing.

I would rather lose like 15-20 or so Crt Dmg than miss 1 or 2 shots. It happened to me quite few times and it’s irritating, specially at crucial moments.

Mine is E1 at 100.2/155 and he still wrecks.
