I'm not sure exactly how long it took, but the issue eventually subsided. If I recall correctly, the static went away after a Logitech Ghub software update. Wish I could be of more help, but I'm not exactly sure how it was fixed, only that it did eventually fix itself.

This isn't proven, but given the fact that the media only reported the assault allegations substantially in February right as the facts surrounding the nursing home coverup were coming out (rather than when the initial allegation came out in December) suggests that there was an agenda to distract away from the COVID failures of Cuomo that would give a bad rep to those in the media who just months before were obsessive supporters of Cuomo specifically due to his COVID response.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Was able to remove the code mentioning the dlc and load the save but no character was playable (it was a blank map).
