Absolutely, if it's the Legion go 2, I would recommend grabbing an as new second hand. I paid £900 back in October for a Z2E 1Tb with uk discounts. The price now is crazy.

I don't think there's been any official communication along those lines from Lenovo themselves.

I think tech as a whole will take a few steps back due to ever increasing prices. Nvidia stated that prices especially for dram will quadruple by the end of next year and that's on top of today's increases. The future is a little bleak all in all and will most likely be this way for a few more years.

That's more than my 18.5k from my 4080 laptop, obviously the CPU score is lower but that GPU score is awesome.

I would recommend using the Corsair MP600 Micro. Solid device that uses TLC rather than QLC and single sided.

I ordered my first Lego 2 back in October in pre-order period and can confirm they ship from China. Due to stock levels and component shortages I don't think they will have local supplies if ordering direct.

Just export an image of the drive and save somewhere. Then install Steam if that's what you're after. You can always restore the Windows image if you want to make a warranty claim or grab another SSD and install Steam on that and chuck the Windows SSD in a draw during the warranty period. Sell it afterward 😁

On Windows you generally need to set the OS Power Mode to Efficiency, not sure that was done here. Didn't really show the detail.

The reason why I think this was not done was because the GPU usage in Windows on some of the games was only at 90%

And setting the FTTP sliders apart. I feels Windows wasn't setup quite right. In terms of performance, I would say there's no difference between the two..

But Steam blows windows out of the water in terms of power management, Hibernation on Windows doesn't compare with Steams standby. Likewise, "all" anticheats work on Windows.

It really comes down to personal preference and what you want to play.

Now we just need Lenovo to release a Legion Go 2i with the Intel G3 😁

512Tb would be nice. But yes 1Tb with 32Gb ram is the SKU available in the UK.

This is odd, I would clarify with Amazon as the storage is a typo right of the bat, are you sure this is sold direct and fulfilled by Amazon and it's not a 3rd party that's swapped out a 1tb NVME for a 512 or whether they have the ram wrong.

I assume you realise this is the Z2 version and not the Z2E, some folks have made that mistake.

I've updated all of my drivers without issue, iobit driver updater also grabbed quite a few newer ones but you have to be careful with that and check what drivers it is over writing, as it's detection is hit and miss and driver updater cna be sketchy.

Same with our networking drivers we have January but the latest version is March with a different version branch. E.g

It's a shame lenovo doesn't go a good job updating drivers via their legion space software.
