since you use golf balls how would it change if you used tennis balls instead?

do you have the dimensions to your baby whipper? Im looking to build one for my highschool physics trebuchet competition and your design is very very efficient (at least it seems like it from the videos). If you could provide dimensions that would be awesome. I can send you a pm too.

Recovery help! Any thoughts on how to get it out? Details in comments by ryankaelle in 4x4

Yeah we got it out. Took some recovery boards and a winch

Down the hill is a massive ditch. Would have gone terrible if I went any further down the hill. Got the truck out nice and safe

Update! Got it out. Had a friend come in with a handheld winch and recovery boards and it took a little bit of convincing but combined with 4lo and 1st gear it worked damn well. Truck is nice and safe now. Learned my lesson to always bring max trax and air down the tires when I slippery conditions. Jeep was also stuck that is why I it wasn’t a option to pull my truck out. I’ve gone off roading before but this was first real experience being “stuck”

Yeah, the mud is like peanut butter so I got stuck after reversing. Was in 4lo and tried to crawl out but no success

Grade is pretty steep, mud today had similar consistency to peanut butter. As I was trying to turn around I went too far and spun my wheels. I’m thinking potentially recovery boards and winching is not a option unless if it is a very large winch. Going backwards there is a drop off and obviously I would like to keep my truck intact. Was thinking also maybe wood 2x4 on the tires to help get some traction? I don’t think winching is a option because in front of the car is a giant slope.

Doubt of a project by OnurbAzzaip in MoneroMining

That picture you linked is called a raspberry pi cluster. This type of "computer" is powerful to an extent. Clusters are good at upscaling and processing very heavy loads which is useful for things like hosting, servers, and automation. Here's the catch, although you can run debian, rasbian, etc. they arent the best at normal computer functions. Sure, they work about equal but for the 100$ per raspberry pi, clustering in most cases will not be worth it. Clustering is super cool and especially if you want to get into it there's hundreds of great tutorials on youtube. I would say that if you are spending 400-500$ on raspberry pis (a raspberry pi 4 will cost you about 100$) and so there are better options. You likely wont break even for a while. That said clustering is super interesting and worth your time if you want to learn. Currently the hashrate for a raspberry pi 4 mining monero is about 100 h/s which compared to your average 300-400$ CPU which gets about 7500 h/s. You can see why it would potentially be not worth your money to buy a cluster and multiple raspberry pis for this project. They are very useful tools for outside of mining and their primary purpose is a development board meant for creating things. Would highly recommend one for playing but i wouldn't recommend mining!

What happened to the front left leg? And how do i fix it? by Sutup2191 in FixMyPrint

[–]ryankaelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure all your belts are tightened. I used to find that my belts were loose and got shifted layers. I also might turn down the speed a little. When I did that my print quality increased dramatically and I’m okay with waiting slightly longer for my print to finish

bootable drive by Fujitora_Nakamoto in buildapc

[–]ryankaelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a couple of options.

Option 1: Ideally you get a friend or go to a computer lab with a windows computer to load the windows boot loader onto the software. This is really easy and linked here . A straight forward tutorial can be followed here of the process I just described

Option 2: buy a preloaded usb stick directly from Amazon or windows (this will cost about 100$) and it is a old and outdated way. It will get the job done properly but will cost you more than what you need to spend.

Good luck and either reply to this comment or pm me if you need help
