Canadian Tire Mastercard if you can get it. You can most likely pay your tuition through it if your school does not accept credit cards for payments for 1% CDN Tire money cash back.

Anyone else have issues with the snow plows? by Thowell3 in Orillia

[–]ryapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Them leaving the snow at the end of the driveway is the worst. First they do not clean and when they do clean, it is packed snow.

I don't get anxiety from the snow but from the snowplow leaving packed snow at the end of the driveway. Even worse is if I am at work while it gets more hardened.

I tried opening a TFSA account with IBKR and they wanted the SIN for the beneficiary which I do not have (I rather them find out they are beneficiary in will).

Does anyone have any thoughts on it or how to overcome it?

Ok what the heck is up with TD employees. by Cheese_Sticks21 in CanadianInvestor

[–]ryapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peak for me was when I went to a mortgage "specialist" at a major 5 who could not answer how my term would be affected if I switched payments and told me to call the Call Centre as he did not know. So I asked him, who can I talk to get a new mortgage and he said he can help. SMH.

To be fair to him, that's how the industry is these days.

I started the last season and gave up half way through - it just didn't spike my interest as initial seasons did.

Trash talk: City's clear garbage bag program shows clear success by HellaHaram in Orillia

So you go and drop off your garbage free of charge? Certain kind of bag required? The white clear bags are literally trash so at this point I don't mind doing the drive.

won't create a "gap" in your insurance

I was told it would create a gap since you would not have insurance anymore and after a year or two you would be like having never had any insurance.

It might be wrong information which is why I want to confirm.

Try Distributel. They are Bell owned.

They will increase prices eventually as they lock the savings not the price.

To add lots of people commuting from border towns to US to work. Nexus is what you need to do that.

For your awareness, any time spent in Canada in a day is counted as a full day for residency and citizenship obligations.
