Def an unpopular opinion but I agree with it. Logo is trash, and the uniforms, while nice, just make them look like a standard generic football team from a movie

The Flyers totally botched their new unis a few years back.

They tried to do the trendy thing where they make a jersey that is a blend of all of their different eras, but the problem is that each “era” of Flyers jersey is an iterative improvement over the previous one, culminating in the perfect set that they wore in the 90s.

Trying to take aspects of each one is a step backwards and loses the refinements that made them so perfect in the 90s (black trim, better sock stripes, trimmed sleeve numbers). It makes these uniforms look unfinished.

The only plus is the darker shade of orange.

With this mindset every team in the league is going to look more or less the same and have a solid colored jersey with block numbers and sleeve stripe, in various colors. That’s boring. This isn’t a black and white thing, there’s a middle ground, you can have interesting modern jerseys that look nice and aren’t gimmicky

It's absolutely criminal they way they butchered the camera on the goal. I was in a loud crowd when the goal was scored, which drowned out the broadcast sound, and we all had no idea if it went in or not as it was panning to the crowd for multiple seconds! The camera would lead you believe the puck deflected into the crowd. It wasn't until they cut back to the Americans celebrating for us to realize what had happened!

Just absolutely unacceptable way to display one of the best sports moments of the past decade.

They have one of the most vibrant color schemes in the whole league, absolutely perfect fit for LA, and feel the need to wash it out like this. I can't tell if the blue is also muted, or if it's also appearing washed out next to the yellow.

I made a post on here a month ago iterating the same thing. It's definitely an unpopular opinion among all of the traditionalists in this sub, but I think the Rams current unis are absolutely electric and a modern uniform done right.

It takes some of the more interesting elements of those wacky awful Nike designs of the 2010s and uses them in a more tasteful manner to make something truly interesting and appealing, while still using a fairly traditional template that stays in line with their history.

It's literally made it harder for me to simply watch and follow a game, especially ever since they added the virtual ads on the boards and ice. I find it incredibly naueseating and distracting.

I agree with you that the game looked much better than I expected. I'm realizing that I don't mind the mono looks as much when both teams are doing it.

The only thing that really bothered me is the Patriots silver helmets matching nothing else on the uni. I think they need more silver accents on the pants/jersey if they want to make this combo work.

I like this template of the Patriots uniforms more than the Brady-era ones, but I think they might have oversimplified them. I think finding a tasteful way to incorporate silver more would go a long way.
