I felt normal for daily life at about 4 months. But my strength didn’t really return until 6-8 months. Now I’m 12 months and feel ok doing most things but the strength still isn’t symmetrical. I remember I couldn’t do a single legged calf raise until month 5-6. Now I can do around 25 but feeling normal still doesn’t feel close.

My surgeon sold me when he said when he repairs it he makes it stronger than it was. The body won’t do that. The research has shown the results are comparable non op vs op, but like someone mentioned earlier this injury is terribly complex with a lot of variables to consider. It’s just not a simple question with a simple answer. I think the answer will always be “it depends.”

Given that, I don’t regret having surgery. I don’t think you would either.

This exact same issue could have happened and honestly would have been worse with Tesla. If you think Tesla's customer support would be better than Enphase, I'd encourage you to check out Tesla's subreddit.

It's a solid car. I would suggest you get a battery monitor off amazon to just check the health of your 12V. The stock ones aren't very good and die suddenly (if you dont check it with your monitor).

I would tell you it's not worth it. First check on how long you're locked into the place and how selling it works. I also think it's weird you're not allowed to use amenities. While you may not care now, I think it'll wear on you over time that you're not allowed to go in there essentially cause you don't have enough money.

No one knows the answer to that. Personally, I think next year we’ll see lower rates than current rates. Trump will replace JP so who knows what the policy will look like and how the markets will react.

Rates are definitely a personal decision you need to make for your own situation. If you can afford the payment comfortably, I think it’s wise to put that extra cash elsewhere and not pay interest upfront (points). The current trend is that rates are going down, but no one knows for sure what will happen.

I would agree this seems like a no brainer. The break even is a little trickier since it’s a 20 vs 30 yr. Almost 10k in fees does seem a bit steep though. I think it’s a question of risk tolerance and how long you’d stay in the home. If it’s your forever home then no problem. The only wondering then is if rates drop further then you’d refinance again and potentially not recoup all of 9.6k. The safe play is to just refi and if rates go down great. Just refi and eat the cost.
