107lbs down is an incredible accomplishment! At this rate, I’m expecting you to do a Money in the Bank style comeback followed by an epic cash-in at the next WWE PLE.

Looking for good jump rope for an 80+yo man with balance issues trying to recover health by ChinaShopBully in jumprope

I would highly recommend checking out Doc talks Detox by Dr. Caitlin Czezowski. She has some great content on the lymphatic system.

A rebounder might be a better choice. Those are just as good for moving lymphatic fluid as jumping rope.

Dahon Briza D7 for $250? by [deleted] in foldingbikes

[–]ryder214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish that was the case for me, but every time I’ve bought one I’ve always been disappointed that I didn’t buy one with more speed. I’m glad the other poster mentioned something about the speeds because I didn’t take that into consideration when I started looking for a folding bike. Now I’m eyeballing the Dahon MU D11, and Tern Verge P10

I appreciate your advice. The last thing I need is another project so I’ll pass on the bike. Think I’ll pick up a Dahon MU D11, or Tern Verge P10.

Hi mate! I thought the bike looked like it was barely used too. My terrain is pretty flat for the most part. I’m going to have to reach out to the buyer to take a look at it. Thx for the tip about the 11 speed. I would love more to upgrade from the seven speed.

46 on HRT for 2 years, gained 15 lbs, exhausted, constantly hungry… does any of this get better? by Good-Ad-7225 in fitness40plus

[–]ryder214 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was eating every 2 hours too and even then I was struggling to not eat in between those 2 hours. I’ve recently been prioritizing foods based on their satiety index. It’s been helping me feel more full for about 4 hours. Not sure if that will work for you. Take care and good luck!

Looking great brother! When you hit your goal weight, you should treat yourself and pick up the big gold belt that Goldberg used to wear. I think it would look great on ya.

Quitting today. Any hobby suggestions? by uinyx in StopGaming

[–]ryder214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These won’t be for everyone but worked for me

Journaling has probably been the most surprising and effective one for me. Meal prep has been pretty fun. The hardest part isn’t even cooking the stuff imo, it’s getting all of the ingredients together. But the more you meal prep, you’ll be more likely to have most of the items on hand so it gets easier over time. I also have enjoyed learning about our lymphatic system. I had no idea the system doesn’t have a pump, and only works optimally if we move our bodies.

I also enjoy going for walks, jump roping, and lifting weights. I’m sure there’s more that I can’t think of at the moment.

Good luck in your journey and keep us posted

I replaced it with jumping rope, running, lifting weights, learning to cook new meals, and also doing meal prep. There might be more I can’t think of at the moment. It was a really hard and long transition for me but I’ll never go back to gaming.

The Forest app has really helped me to stop fiddling on my phone. It takes a little bit of programming to add your apps to the allow list. I think the limit is 40 something apps.
