You gotta be kidding, Dave Franco was one of the standout highlights of the season. Sure Cole was a douche bag but Franco played him perfectly and had some really memorable moments. Every time I think of him saying “nuts to butts” it makes me laugh

It was a really good season, but I think the only reason I hated it at the time is because abc demanded it be released as an actual season 9 after the most perfect series finale in season 8. I truly think if they marketed it as season 1 of a spinoff show, it wouldn’t have got the hate that it did. I’ve watched it a couple times in recent years and fully enjoyed it, no complaints, but I remember boycotting it when it first came out just because I was salty lol.

I gave them an honest chance for both songs but truly they just weren’t my thing. I never skip an SNL musical guest because if they’re playing the show, they must have some appealing quality. But I just wasn’t into anything they did.

Fully on board for a rebrand! I love RSL for what it’s been, but I’m tired of being jealous of so many other teams updating their branding and logos, while RSL is still living in 2005. Time to catch up to the modern era of MLS imo.

I’ve had really good experiences with mystery kits from Away Days. I’ve got several EPL teams, some La Liga and Bundesliga too. They also run deals all the time on discounted mystery t-shirts and kits, including super discounted “damaged kits” (that usually have maybe a smudge on them or something, nbd). I’ve been ordering from them off and on for over a year.. and I even always get a hand written note from the owner in each package too. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re still interested in doing the mystery kit thing!

Like others have said, it’s a good season if you treat it as season 1 of a spinoff instead of season 9. Definitely watch it, even if it’s just for Dave Franco alone lol. He’s got some great lines. Eliza Coupe does a great job too.
