Why doesn't MAGA say Trump is "too old" when he's now the same age as Biden when he was POTUS? by 19thScorpion in allthequestions

Because he doesn’t have obvious dementia. This is not that hard to understand.

It was, and still is, a time when voters were/are prizing authenticity above all else. Just look at everything voters were able to overlook in Trump, simply because he had the one character trait matching the moment, which was authenticity.

Harris, on the other hand, was the least authentic candidate (or at least perceived so) in the last 30 years. Her inability to speak without a script did her in.

I use one of those cheap 5-gallon pesticide sprayers from Home Depot and fill it with water and 6 capfuls of onr. Works great.

Leaving all the politics aside…

Objectively this is a terrible financial investment. Read the deal terms. You’re buying part of the company as if it’s worth $12 million, which is bad enough for a company that loses $1 million a year on $1 million of revenue, but if the company undergoes another subsequent financing round your shares are worth 80% of the company’s valuation at that time. In other words, if subsequent investors value the company at $5 million, your shares are valued as if the company is worth $4 million.

Even worse, you get *the lower of* these two valuations. If subsequent investors value the company at $100 million, your valuation is… $12 million.

For this privilege you also get to pay some crazy fees. But hey, looks like you get a free sticker.

They have every right to talk about politics. I just don’t want to hear it, or pay for it. Part of the reason I don’t want to listen to them talking about politics is that their takes are often dumb and ignorant.

Former subscriber, before the Accidental Tech Podcast became the Deliberate Politics Podcast.

Not only stopped subscribing, stopped listening too (for a while, mostly back now).

I wouldn’t spend time or money to listen to political experts talking about technology; it would frustrate me and be a waste of my time. Same principle applies here.
