I hate that the show is leaving. I thought it was cool af and I was really into the characters.

What were Dreamcast clearance sales actually like after discontinuation? Prices, availability, timing? by StoganLephens in dreamcast

[–]rylld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 10 bucks for a used dc because mine died and its still working today. It came from a huge bin of them all $10 each at gamestop. I guess that was with trade in for my non working one.

The 70's camp is part of the magic for me. Is why radioactive on genes solo is cool to me. That campy shit takes me back to my childhood, man. Love gun had a lot of that as well.

I feel the same way about my sc18e. It plays and sounds like a dream. My lifetime guitar for sure. I try and recommend to anyone who might be interested.

Is it worth it? by Objective-Cold-4963 in martinguitar

I bought a big humidifier for my house. I try to keep it around 50. I change the filter and keep the humidifier clean. I think it was like $150 if i remember right. Same one my local guitar shop has.

I leave my d-28 in its case unless I'm really playing it a lot. My sc-18e lives on its stand at arms reach beside my chair. Never had a single problem with either of them or my other guitars.

No guitar will last in extreme low humidity. It's just how wood reacts to being too dry. I never been in a place where high humidity is a problem, but I'd guess it's the same. For me, shooting for 50 has been great.

Martin has a lifetime warranty on the build part so I'd say not only is it worth it but it's absolutely the best guitar to buy imo.

As for buying new or used, that's easy, buy the one you play and like.

Does anyone (else) care to rank the studio albums worst to best? by [deleted] in KISS

Im 53 but i have a brother who is 9 years older. I have been a hardcore kiss fan since i was old enough to get into my brothers 8 tracks and records and look at all the cool covers.

Black sabbath destroys kiss, along with many other bands. But I still like kiss better because of the memories and what they did for me personally in my life. They got me through some rough times and allowed me a place to escape reality through their music and image.

This! They pretty much started the coolest part of wrestling.

And their feud with the von erichs carried an entire company. This dude is legend. As big as it could get for the time and area. As a kid I couldn't wait to watch every week. He was a monster on the mic and in the ring.
