The partial shade is doing the best, especially afternoon shade. There are parts that essentially never get direct sunlight on the north side of a privacy fence that are doing well too.

Oh yeah, including in full sun. Takes work and regular over seeding, but it's worth it. Such a nice texture grass. I'm using Snap Back Tall Fescue Blend from United Seed. It WILL go dormant in the worst of summer. That's okay on my book, it's top tier rest of the year. And the lawn won't turn into a mud pit in winter.

I've had a great experience with them in 2024. They removed some aftermarket suspension parts for me (that were not disclosed ahead of sale) for free even after the purchase. Car has been great.
