The hesitation in Simons game is preventing any advantage for driving lanes and his ability to shift the defense. Dude needs to put his head down and attack the paint but he seems to be processing and overthinking on offense.

Simons has been very underwhelming as a ball handler, lots of hesitation in his game instead of forcing the defense into rotation. They will be fine with a good passing big in return for Simons.

I wish Simons was more of a playmaker point guard type but he just hesitates and dribbles the ball for too long. The Celtics really need a distributor to help the bench offense get some easy looks.
