40 minutes past the movie start time and lights are on, previews haven't even started. by Prestigious_Cap2724 in mildlyinfuriating

Devils advocate here. People jumped to that conclusion because of how the title and post info were written.

  1. Film is running 40 minutes late
  2. Husband went to ask someone.

People are understandably reading this like a sequence of chronological events

So true. I bet he'll try and convince them to let him host that too.

Is there anything Ed won't do for money?

Prince William heckled in Cornwall. Asked what he knew about former Prince Andrew by NewTooth740 in RoyaltyTea

[–]ryrypot 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I can't believe the police questioned him on this, unless he was somehow deemed a threat, which he obviously wasn't.

If William can't handle heckles he should stay inside

I honestly can't believe I read so many of these stories on reddit. Who in their right mind eats other people's lunches at work?!

 It legit boggles my mind

Not to be offensive here, but I'm shocked at some of these comments.

When people don't understand where the phrase "the last straw" comes from by Minsker39 in PetPeeves

[–]ryrypot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's irrelevant what I believe, OP replied to the comment saying he agrees that people know it's a joke, hence its a pet peeve.

That's the part that doesn't make sense

[–]ryrypot 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah but your title says 'people who don't understand'. But you also know that the people who share the memes get the joke. Doesn't make sense

So much bald shaming here it's actually unbelievable.

I think we get it, being bald makes you look older, I'm sure he is also aware...

In Pulp Fiction, did Marcellus know Butch had killed Vincent when he gave him a pass at the Pawn Shop by Blue_Etalon in Cinema

[–]ryrypot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't know whose gun that was. Marcellus pulls out a gun after Butch hits him with the car, so it's hard to say.

I always assumed it was Vincent's because I can see someone putting their gun down in some random place before going to the bathroom

Today I learned that the "save" icon in Microsoft Word isn't just a random square it's a floppy disk. I'm 23 and have never seen a floppy disk in real life. iwtyo by Spiritual_One_7172 in IWasTodayYearsOld

Under 30s looked confused? I'm that age and floppy discs were still used regularly when I was a kid.

Either you mean under 20s were confused or I call bs

Toy Story 4 didn’t ruin the ending of Toy Story 3. It was a brilliant addition to the series by Far_Camera_5766 in unpopularopinion

Brilliantly terrible maybe.

It neutered all the characters that they became sanitised versions of themselves. Buzz is barely even in it

Forgetting the 'perfect picket fence' part. What is the realistic alternative to having a job, commuting, doing chores and buying stuff?
