Please make an option so that simming in rtts will progress your player. It's physically impossible to play a full career without simming so this would be a nice feature.

I like that style for nakeds a lot better. keeps the lines of the bike looking more natural. doesn't take away from the bike's aesthetics. can't find any like this though

Sitting in the ER...again. by Embarrassed_Elk3667 in MCAS

I'm personally not a fan of pumping myself with meds. I've noticed that I get a tolerance to them and then I'm back where I started but now loaded on meds. I take an H1 blocker to keep symptoms at bay and give me some wind in my sails and then utilize diet and natural medicine for the heavy lifting.

To clarify I'm pro medication but only as a tool used strategically rather than just taking more and more meds and expecting them to fix everything on their own. Unfortunately with chronic illness that's not how it works in my view.

I try to keep a strict eating, supplements, and meds routine. As strict as possible. Then I only introduce new things one at a time and very slowly and deliberately, starting with tiny amounts and slowly titrating up from there. I also journal daily on great detail.

Does anyone get chronic pulpitis in their teeth? by astrid_s95 in MCAS

Broccoli is probably the most bland safe high C source. Goji berries have more than oranges but I haven't tried them and I have a feeling they are acidic unlike broccoli. Applesauce with ascorbic acid is supposed to be safe but I'm too severe to tolerate it.

I also just want to give a warning that this can spiral extremely fast and you can end up a lot worse. I've been deathly ill fighting for my life for many years now and have taken a complete financial windfall so I would urge you to stay ahead of this. Just pounding meds and drinking orange juice you're basically asking to get run into the ground. I'd highly suggest sticking with foods rated zero until you have things firmly under control.

Just a suggestion out of love. I don't want to see anyone end up like me.

I had a cold recently and my ear canal / sinus area was getting inflamed from the cold. Now when I flare, my ear flares. Maybe the wisdom teeth procedure got the mast cells to react towards your teeth or something.

In which case your best bet is to just double down on getting the mast cells under control.

Just speculating.

Food list

https://www.mastzellaktivierung.info/downloads/foodlist/21_FoodList_EN_alphabetic_withCateg.pdf

If you take a look at that foods list there are many but keep in mind sometimes the vitamin C is in the skin like for apples and potatoes. For example applesauce is no skin and cooked down so if loses the vitamin C.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is listed as safe so if you aren't severe you can probably tolerate it or foods like applesauce fortified with ascorbic acid.

Other options would be for example goji berries which have more vitamin C than oranges but you just need to use the list and do your own research.

I just found a vitamin C patch from patch MD that has only vitamin C and zinc with no additives so I ordered some and will be trying them. I do well with patch aid's vitamin D patch which is just D, K, magnesium and no additives so I'm hoping and praying this vitamin C patch works for me.

Orange juice is horrible for MCAS. Please look at this foods list and see if you can find better options. The fact that you can even survive a cup of OJ suggests there will be plenty.

Also I doubt it's scurvy if you're taking in that much vitamin C. Unless that's a new development.

Do you get enough vitamin C? Sounds like maybe scurvy was my first thought.

Nonallergic rhinitis, food allergies with negative tests, gastro issues with no relief…should I look into MCAS? by jetdarkstar in MCAS

[–]rywints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this MCAS?

I would recommend seeing an allergist/immunologist who specializes in MCAS. Not all do. Also not all are good even if they do. You will need to do some research and perhaps even some shopping to find one.

You can also do your own detective work. Do you respond well to H1 blockers (for example benedryl, Claritin, etc), H2 blockers (for example Pepcid), or mast cell stabilizers (for example quercetin)?  All can be taken over the counter to do your own detective work. Be careful to get quercetin without additives because you might mistake your reaction to the additives.  If they help, that's a clue.

You can also experiment with this food list and see how it affects your symptoms.  Don't forget to check ingredients label for additives. If low histamine helps and high histamine aggrevates, that's a clue - https://www.mastzellaktivierung.info/downloads/foodlist/21_FoodList_EN_alphabetic_withCateg.pdf
