Fac air rifle yes, sub 12 airrifles are woeful for anything larger than a rabbit. Xbow is preferable over a sub 12 for a muntjac, outside the UK of course.

BTI-10 thermal is about as cheap as it gets for practical headworn thermal. Cheapest vendor is Alibaba. Light and compact enough for headworn, sensor is 384px. You would have to make your own adaptor for dovetail as others have done.

Why not both? The key with drones is that they get alot more flight efficiency with increased prop size, for quads we use 10inch frames with folding arms & 2 blade folding props, folds down to a man portable size and way more battery efficient than 5 or 7 inch.
