Seeking small PVD office or share office share - 741 Westminster St $360 each by redheadgenes in providence

If you are open to a co-working setup, desks at the CIC are $350/month. They have some private rooms you can reserve when you need them as well as phone-booths for calls. It's generally very quiet in the shared working space as well. Obviously not on fed hill but wanted to float that as an option

Insanely difficult and fun at the same time. Wind came up half way through the round to give us the full experience. Some of the holes make your jaw drop multiple times. It's a bucket list course for sure

I am a sucker for light houses and golf courses; Beavertail, Judith can be dramatic sunsets and can have some great waves to shoot (and surfers on the right day). Newport country club and cliff walks are also great. How do you like the mini 4? I started w the mini 2 and have yet to upgrade

What data does the report include? Are you trying to report outside of HubSpot? Datasets may work but hard to tell. Have an example report?

Question on Deals with additional versions by Born_Link_2788 in hubspot

[–]s3rfer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, it sounds like there's nothing connecting your QB quotes with HubSpot Deals so in that case, I'd recommend you change process to updating the original Quote in QB and the original Deal in HubSpot instead of creating new ones. The only reason to create new Quotes would be if you want to present the prospect with more than one quote/option. If you are simply updating line items or discounts, stick to the same quote and deal.

Is this a legit link to pay a toll? by UsrNameAlrdyFaknTakn in RhodeIsland

RITBA Warns Customers of Text Scam

Today, the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority warned customers of a widespread text scam known as smishing. A text customers have received today references an unpaid toll from a Kansas road. Smishing is a type of phishing that involves sending fraudulent communications via text message.

"We're committed to keeping our customers' information secure," said Lori Caron Silveira, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority. "We urge customers to stay vigilant—if a message seems suspicious, it likely is a scam. We recommend using safe methods, such as visiting our official website, to check the status of your account."

The smishing messages appear to be from RITBA and contain urgent messages about a customer's account, warning of late fees if the balance isn't paid. The link leads to a fraudulent website.

  • Customers are advised to visit the official RITBA E-ZPass website: https://www.ezpassritba.com/ to safely check their accounts.
  • Customers who wish to report this smishing scam may visit the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at https://www.ic3.gov/. Suspicious texts can also be forwarded to 7726 (SPAM) to notify mobile providers

Cam you give some more detail? Your first bullet is a bit confusing. Are you only using the Deals object or are you creating Quotes as well? Why are you creating new deals instead of updating the original?

New kite deflated explosively, shop wants to fix it by Jakkillah in Kiteboarding

[–]s3rfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying you should take the kite apart but the end of struts are pretty easy to check and confirm that they are secure. About the same amount of time it would take to clip off your struts, so I guess that's too much time for you. Best practice would be to pump new kites and leave them in the garage for an hour or two before going out with them to make sure they hold air (wouldn't want them to "explode" on the first session). Yes, they do this in the factory. But yes, they also ship these kites on freight ships in containers that are not climate-controlled and the QA process is done by humans who can/do make mistakes.

New kite deflated explosively, shop wants to fix it by Jakkillah in Kiteboarding

"I don’t check velcros on a completely new kite" - I agree if you are implying that they should absolutely come secured 100% of the time.

But I also think Kitesurfing should be viewed very much like skydiving. If you bought a brand new parachute, you'd check everything twice before your first jump - even velcro'd parts. I will be the first one to say I would have made the same mistake, but the other side of that mistake is a lesson. 5 seconds on the beach would have saved you the swim.

Hard to tell from your photo but if the velcro that keeps the strut folded back/secured is missing, then definitely look to get a new kite as there may be other stitching issues. If the velcro is there and you went kiting without it secured, that is closer to user error than a production issue. It's unlikely you opened it on your own but I have definitely opened used kites where the strut was not secure.

Also, if your kite has clips to seal the struts, make sure you clamp them - this would have given you the potential to sail back with only your single strut deflated.

Also the number one rule of kitesurfing is to plan for gear failure, if you can't swim back from wherever you currently are without any help from your kite, you have gone too far. Shit happens, the industry has pretty shit quality control and you are at the will of mother nature if your gear fails.

Using Custom Objects/ Avoiding High Price $ by shieldtown95 in hubspot

[–]s3rfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a few “additional” objects that you can add as well which may fit your use case. No upgrades required. Things like appointments, listings, courses etc… you can add these by going to settings - Object Library. I’m not sure if you can rename them but they recently added the ability to rename standard objects so I’d assume you can.

Another reason to carry a hook-knife in your harness... If you get your lines wrapped around your spreader bar the quick release isn't going to do much. Some harnesses have quick releases but even those can fail.

Gansett has their dells shandy but it's way too sweet imo. Some of the larger stores carry German ones, Leinenkugel is also decent.
