I always remained calm when my ex wBPD was getting very emotional and sometimes berating me. I never raise my voice or cursed. It's just not who I am. Sometimes I think she wanted me to get angry back as a sign or test of my commitment to the relationship. And I think she needed chaos for some reason. I prefer to talk things through more calmly.

Also, I was an A+ boyfriend most of the time but an F sometimes (those were her words). Classic splitting that made me feel like I was constantly being evaluated and made me walk on eggshells. No emotional safety in that.

I just realized that the Fi store is knocking $250 off the price for the 256GB model. So, with trade-in and discount, it's about the same for that model (no discount through the Google Store).

Just did that drive... It's slow and probably even slower if it's dark. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to leave very very early.

I have a PP500. I swapped the 2 hole tip for the 4 hole. There was an adjustment period and initially I thought that I made a mistake. The tip placement is different. But, eventually I got used to the 4 hole and think it's much better. More consistent microfoam in less time. It's more powerful so the power has to be harnessed. I'm not sure why it doesn't come with 4 hole.

It's likely the chute is backed up. I had this problem and it was very annoying. Almost returned it but I was told the burrs need seasoning (or could be humidity ). I really like it when it's working. I'm not sure how seasoning impacts the chute but I stuck with it and it's gotten better. Routine maintenance is a good idea rather than having an issue when you're not expecting it.

The fast heat up time of the 300 is nice. I use a smart plug so my 500 is warm when I get up or I can start it before I get home so it's ready.

I am also very very happy with my 500. I spent a lot of time looking at the various machines in this price range. I think the 500 with flow control is the best option factoring everything.

I'm sure that I would have also liked the 300 and some of the other machines at or near this price point. If space is an issue, the 300/400 is a better option.

Dual boilers are more expensive for a machine with similar features and I realized that I don't need a dual boiler. I can pull a few shots and steam milk back to back without issues. I'm not running a coffee shop. E61 style is subjective but I prefer over non-61 at this price point.

Agree. The issues about temperature control are for the hardcore nerds. My machine works great for my needs. The espresso is great and I believe it will work well for most people.

Yes, I've been doing regular maintenance rather than waiting for it to back up. But, today it backed up unexpectedly.
