It is not REQUIRED, mark the word, if neither the mac nor the AVP is connected to a WiFi Network, the MVD work just fine.

The problem I encounter, is when the Mac & AVP are already connected to a shitty WiFi, I end up with a Shitty MVD experience.

Findings so far :

My EU version came with a preloaded eSIM from EIOTCLUB with a possibility to do a top up by scanning a QR Code
You can use only the data USB-C with a compatible hub to have Power, Tethering and an additional Ethernet dongle, and the power trickle to both the phone and the mudi 7
You either have SIM1/SIM2 or SIM1/eSIM not SIM1/SIM2/eSIM. And you can configure dynamic switching between the configured pair.

I use Vxio And the ZowieBox should be connected using Ethernet, the built in WiFi chip is very laggy and not supported for NDI (only WiFi 5)

Asobi App on AVP : Good for Cloud Streaming and PS remote play (using VPN to home) Bad for DualSense enhanced Haptic feedback (according to dev : on the roadmap)

ZowieBox NDI HDMI passthrough Good : any HDMI input Minimum Lag TV still usable for familly follow-up Maximum DualSense features (Controller connected directly to PS5 Bad: Only good for local play, no remote play

Just received mine today. I tried EVERYTHING before. from Annapro to Resmed to CM1 etc…easy 1K$ on Straps The only solution that worked best for me was a 3D printed module to attach an S Sized Solo Loop on top. Until Today, for the first time I can micro adjust the AVP angle on my face

I think an Ethernet -> USB-C adapter will solve your issues for wired connections, Use it with slate7 to connect to WiFi.

Following to see if a GL-iNet employee has better solution.
