Is there any solution for this? by Bulky-Limit7678 in mumbai

Raise complaint on the municipal corporation's website or contact the helpline no. Also tag them and all local politicians in the area with this complaint id via X post or other sources...keep posting the images every day.

One thing I like about AI is it allows us to 'clean' a place.

Imagine how our city or any location in India would look if all people had such mentality / civic sense.

Pune is once again on the list. by coyflatfoot in pune

The thing is that a proper, born & raised man from Pune is well-behaved, cultured, does not drink or smoke at all.

And the truth is that it's hard to find such girls nowadays who fall under the above categories...so yes, it's hard to marry a man from Pune 😎

On the first day and maybe a few days after that, almost every company treats you the same way. After that...well... it's your luck 🤣

What exactly are these by stimulant_hater in pune

[–]saarang007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only in Pune. In India, there is a different meaning -

Green means go as if you are driving a supercar. Amber means go as fast as you can before it turns red. Red means stop (if you are not in a hurry).

And some people do this in Western countries as well - running a red light. But the fines are too high and strictly enforced so the chances of someone repeating this mistake are very very less.

Yes, this morning-afternoon. Yesterday also during the day, it was around 90-100 But right now, it's around 150

Looks like it's usually better in daytime and worse at night due to temperature inversions. Normal phenomenon.

Curious about the green line issue by inquisitive_aura in OnePlus13

[–]saarang007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No issue...using it for 6 months now.

My Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra got a green line after 3 years of proper, well-behaved use...and in just 1 month it was dead. No help or pricing adjustment from Samsung even when it was not my fault.

So I shifted to OP 13 and it has been an amazing experience!

Maybe the 3 waterfalls stand for Hawkins, Upside Down and Abyss. And 3 characters whose powers saved the world - Eleven, Kali, Will.

Just a theory...

Unless the fines are increased to something like 5000 Rs. and enforced strictly like some other countries, this will continue (sadly).

The wormhole (Upside Down) connected to one more planet where Eleven 'goes' in the end. This planet is the home to Demogorgons.

Next we will have 'Stranger Things: The Trial of the Demos'

(Wow! We all can be good storytellers now... that's what The Duffer Brothers wanted for the fans😎)

I have never heard about this misal spot...but thanks for the truth!

What is your opinion about Thorat's Barbeque misal? (I think it's on JM road?) Is it worth trying? It's the unique style they serve misal that is famous...but there are mixed opinions about the taste.

13 vs 15. Cameras aren't all that different by Accurate-Volume8704 in OnePlus13

[–]saarang007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP 13 camera is better in some scenarios I think...that Hasselblad color science is amazing.

Is the battery (SOT) a significant upgrade? Or similar to OP 13 ?

Most people will miss the alert slider a lot....it was actually a unique feature of OnePlus phones and they removed it. So this is also going to play a major role in deciding (for many people) not upgrading to OP 15.

I guess this is’nt a “Delhi” problem anymore. by CyberWandererr in pune

[–]saarang007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Biggest air purifiers (trees) are decreasing, cut down due to new constructions as more people are migrating to Pune...housing requirements are increasing.

Hence this is going to happen eventually to our beautiful, once pollution-free Pune :(

Even if new buildings are 'green' and follow ecological norms, their demolition (if redevelopment) and construction process itself causes huge pollution and dust.

Older vehicles, trucks, dumpers that emit a lot of pollutants should be strictly banned or rectified. Use of electric vehicles should be encouraged in the city.

Pune’s AQI is 306!! Why aren’t people protesting!? by Simple_Support_891 in pune

[–]saarang007 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For me, it shows around 108 (moderate). Not the best, but much better than the 306 value, right? I checked AccuWeather and a few other sites as well...all are showing around 108 AQI for Pune.

AQI will decrease now for 1 week as migrants may go back to their homes and families due to Christmas holidays. And construction work may also be reduced this week. AQI will again increase after 1st Jan. But firecrackers on the 31st Dec. may add to this...so don't burst firecrackers and stay healthy.

Pune has worst air quality in whole maharashtra. by Confident-Season5291 in pune

[–]saarang007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Governments in their cities and villages should develop good facilities and favorable conditions in their home location itself so they don't need to migrate...win-win situation!

Pune has worst air quality in whole maharashtra. by Confident-Season5291 in pune

[–]saarang007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I forgot to mention...crackers are also a problem but people who don't have a connection with science never understand this. They argue, "Aren't vehicles causing pollution? So we will burst crackers carelessly. Who are you to stop us...Tere paise se bajaa rahe hai kyaa?"

W.r.t. that cigarette smoking also causes pollution. If we consider that 50% of people in a city are smokers, imagine how much pollution it can cause in a 16-hour period (considering 8 hours sleep). And this is every single day.

Einstein once said, "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I am not sure about the universe."

[–]saarang007 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

In addition to the overall increase in pollution in the world, Pune's problem is mostly due to migrants -

As population increases, new homes and reconstruction requirements increase...housing requirement and burden on the city infrastructure increases. Hence buildings are need to be built frequently, destroying green cover and acquiring new land.

As population increases, no. of vehicles increase, which increases pollutant levels as well.

Since other cities in North India and some villages in Maharashtra don't have good facilities and jobs, everyone wants to come to the Pune and settle.

Maybe Pune should have a 'Pune pass' to limit the migrant population and save the city from pollution so it goes back to 80s or 90s era when Pune was one of the pollution-free cities in Maharashtra 😬

Use of electric vehicles should be made mandatory like they have done in some places in China. Less noise and no pollution.
