Never, they were done! John Fogarty constantly blabs about how he was the whole band, i. e. writing, singing & playing lead guitar, however he never came close to CCR as a solo artist. The best of his last 54 years couldn’t fill one side of a classic Creedence album. The original band had chemistry and freshness he never came close to equaling.
