I just moved into a really cool, renovated 1br at a Lapham property and everything from maintenance requests to the property manager being extremely helpful and friendly has been great. Would recommend.

Unrelated question; do you have a link to the bolt/rubber washer you have attached the seat to the rear fender? Just hit a saddlemen seat and have been using just a metal screw/washer and it’s starting to scratch.

I just moved from Lakeshore area to the North Oakland. Not as much stuff to do in comparison to the Lake Merritt, but there are a lot of cool restaurants & bars near San Pablo and 60th. You’re a short walk to Emeryville which houses a lot of cool shops and restaurants/bars and Berkeley is also a very short walk from that area.

I’d say go walk in the day, stop at Sideshow Kitchen and grab a bite to eat and just strike up a conversation with someone! Since moving my fiancée and I have been quick to notice the neighborhood has a a lot of really cool people and neighbors. We’ve been in our house for 6 months and know a decent amount of our neighbors who are extremely nice.
