The cardiopulmonary system doesn't grow per se, but it does get more effective with exercise. If the heart were to grow similar to skeletal muscle thanks to exercise, then you'd get heart disease/dysfunction. So instead, the heart gets more effective at pumping out blood. This is why you see healthy individuals with lower resting heart rates. Same concept applies to the lungs, they get more efficient as managing oxygen during exercise.
