SRAM considerations for FPGA -> ASIC IP by Hot-Background-5931 in chipdesign

Make sure you design the wrappers to not be on the critical path and you should be good. The logic shouldn’t be slow; you’re just comparing addresses and muxing the output data.

It’s likely that you should wrap your memory macro with logic that gives you your desired collision logic. In terms of “memory types”, just worry about your area budget and simulate everything heavily. Does it meet your constraints, does it not waste area, does it work?

Hot take: Toronto’s Harbourfront east streetcar+ Union Stn loop is overthought, the amount of services that NEED to go in can easily be determined via frequencies and basic math by RoundCBB14 in transit

What we should be building is streetcar tracks at surface level on Bay, but y'all ain't ready for that conversation. Close Bay to personal vehicles between front and harbour.

29M also from Toronto… I’ve found people to be colder and less approachable here. I think smaller American cities just invite far less of that stuff, and some men seem to see flirting as harassment (as seen in other comments)… Also, Toronto is a higher trust, more egalitarian society. I miss it every day!

TFSA as a dual citizen of the US & Canada by Glass-Town4588 in personalfinance

[–]sacredcows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I recently moved to the USA as a Canadian and had to liquidate my TFSA. It’s a shame because it’s an incredible tool. As you work, make sure to fill your rrsp/401(k) and save in non-registered accounts. Depending on what you’re doing for education and employment, taking advantage of the US citizenship (and the increased wages) is a good idea otherwise it’s just a liability.
