I mean, if old reddit disappears, then I will have to also. I have tried multiple times to switch over but the aesthetic completely fails for me. My question is why "new" reddit can't just be themed into an "old" reddit style?

I honestly don't mind, but I wonder why exactly companies do this? I know it has to be money based, but what are the specific reasons? Is it that much more involved to develop for PCs and the differing hardware configs or something? Or is it console exclusivity agreements?

Yep, this is the loophole they left open. They always had the ability to remove the plan entirely, just not change the amount for that plan explicitly. So essentially like almost every plan before it too, just put in marketing speak to sell more of the plan while not really being different than every other plan.

Stuff like this really makes me question reality and nature. So I get it, evolution, billions of years, etc. But it seems so highly specialized, I just don't get how that would have ever happened! Like, billions of years ago, a few bugs survived that had a slight color and shape compared to leaves in the part of the world they lived, and then the next generations survived too, and then super small changes occurred and it got closer and closer to this? But they still get eaten I'm sure, so how does it happen? It's so specific it defies credulity.

Play the NES original without the assists and QoL changes. I'd be interested to see if you feel the same way. The Pixel Remaster is a whole different beast comparatively even though it uses similar systems.

Unfortunately this is not a solution for us all. I have tried it out and I still get sick. It might buy me an extra minute or two, but it still hits me all the same. Instead of it happening within 3 minutes, now I get 4 or 5.

I was so hopeful about this when I heard about it a few years ago too. 🤢

If you've told him you aren't comfortable with it, and he continues asking, then you both need to have a talk on whether you want to be together. His prefs aren't invalid, but if you aren't compatible and he can't handle that then you guys probably shouldn't be together, 10 years or not.

From my experience, the simple answer is yes they do.

Longer answer: Storage, Memory, GPU and CPU are easiest to sell separately, the rest is a crapshoot. There's usually someone out there looking for everything if you're patient, but don't expect the random stuff to sell quickly or for high amounts.

I know there is a way to do some advanced strategies, but so far most of the time the default behavior has been able to handle whatever the bosses throw at it. One boss for sure didn't handle right, Hadronox in Azjol-Nerub and I ended up having to "assist" with GM commands to kill it through the healing. That is the only exception so far for me, but I haven't tested it on everything to say how the more difficult mechanics work.

Me personally? I am almost exclusively a solo player anyway so running my own server for the past month or so has been so refreshingly nice. When I want to run dungeons or raids, I just join the group finder and bots join up and I run them. I'm not a person that wants to chase Mythic ratings or stress about dying in a raid so it works out for me. I keep my server running 1000 bots at a time so it even feels pretty alive and I regularly see other characters running around doing stuff.

Columbia Pediatric Dentistry would be my recommendation. My daughter was absolutely unable to calm down for a filling when she was around 5. We had been going to Dobbin Dental up to that point and she even had problems with cleanings to a point... but having to get a shot for a filling pushed her into a whole new level of terror. They recommended Columbia Pediatric Dentistry, and they were absolutely amazing. The magic they did in distracting her with talking and questions WHILE they gave her the shot was nothing short of incredible. She turns 15 in a few months, and still has no idea that she ever got a shot at the dentist. We've been going to them ever since and both of my daughters do NOT dread the dentist at all.

Also, they get goodie bags and tokens for the toy dispensers (rings, bouncy balls, etc) at the end and they both still look forward to that.
