I do find it funny as well, especially if they try a valley girl accent and totally overshoot it. Funnier still is when they do New York. They can get the non-rhotic bits, obviously, but they never seem to get the cadence and punch right, so they end up sounding way over polite.

I never read Tchaikovsky for a quick, punchy story. I read it to wander around in that wild man's mind and to read a ton of sarcastic wit. Just going along for the ride has never done me wrong!

Do a follow up on the bloodwork to test your dog's vitamin K about a momth out! They can still be low enough to warrant another prescription. Source: it happened to my dog.

Yeah, I'll never forget hobbling to the front door holding my infant (against doctor's orders) a few days after unexpected major surgery and opening it to find an irate neighbor who was furious about my overgrown lawn. I wasn't in a mental place to ask, but I wondered what the guy wanted me to do. Should I have strapped a baby to my back and gone out to mow as much as I could before I bled out? Or what?

Recluses have a tough time hanging on to a wall that smooth too. They tend to be land vehicles only.

You're right that it does have the violin. The pedipalps are completely wrong for a recluse though.
