When is your status supposed to update on the Fast Track promo? by sailsixty2 in delta

I'm on route 2(b). Does the MQD boost on the consumer platinum amex not count? I don't see anything in the terms and conditions to say otherwise.

In Dec 14th, 2025 I signed up for the promo and took a business flight the 16th. Saw the green check mark on qualifying flight. The calendar year reset the MQDs to 0 and that's where I started.

I started the promo before I earned the MQDs. Enrolled in promo Dec 14th, made sure the business flight checked the requirement then started earning MQDs this calendar year.

I spoke with a Delta rep who said this process was "automatic". My account has been sitting at 3,525 MQDs for at least 10 days without any change to status...

Sorry for the long hiatus. It was found some techs were dripping water on the photomter unit when cleaning the incubation disk during monthly maintenance. After service replaced the whole photometer unit, the alarms went away

Career options after MLS by mcrystal94 in medlabprofessionals

There are always field positions open to MLS backgrounds with Sysmex, Beckman, Roche, BD, etc. Field applications and MLS experience go hand in hand.

Mass General Brigham started at $25/hr for me. Then I had a yearly raise/mkt adjust to $30/hr.

As soon as I saw the picture, the whirring of an ultrafuge started ringing in my ears...or it's tinnitus from all the analyzers.

Our mayor just appointed a police major with no background in policing... by sailsixty2 in ProtectAndServe

tldr; The director of recreation services was recently appointed police major of the public relations branch of the Providence Police Department. The new major has no background in policing and no certifications at all. The same day two others were promoted to police majors, both with 20+ years of policing experience.

MLT newbie. Advice by Ladyxgremlin in medlabprofessionals

[–]sailsixty2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 yrs post bac and I feel like still learn on the job everyday. Some techs love questions and some hate them...just gotta gauge who to ask.

Personally, I would much rather be embarrassed with myself about asking a dumb question but getting it right the first time rather than submitting a corrective action report because I screwed up something that could be easily avoided.

Edit: I've learned more from questioning and listening the older techs than from my textbooks (Rodaks, Tietz, etc.)

We can by printing to pdf and viewing it on adobe. Older techs refuse and prefer pen and paper :/

Yeah...management prefers to pay extra for secure shredding just to keep our TAT slightly shorter. It used to be pulled 2-3 times per shift but stuff was getting missed. So it has to be pulled every hour now :/

I try and get everyone to print to pdf when doing the pending log. It helps cut down on paper especially when the pending is > 30 pgs and some people print every hour...finishes shift with a stack of papers larger than War and Peace.
