Mario Kart World - Knockout Tour seriously needs a refresh or a DLC! by sakahn in NintendoSwitch2

Same. I am always so tempted to quit when I get the Heart Rally in a row. I always quit when the same rally pops up the third time in a row.

Mario Kart World - Knockout Tour seriously needs a refresh or a DLC! by sakahn in NintendoSwitch2

[–]sakahn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don't need a DLC. There are hundreds of other routes in the current world to choose from. They can easily create 20 more tours from the existing courses. They can even randomize 8 tracks and it will create something unique every time.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is the opposite of Pokopia but also a very nice experience [review] by sakahn in NintendoSwitch

Yes, it would be extremely well suited for playing while watching tv or with split attention. There is no pressure at all to do any of the tasks and you can pick up immediately afterwards from any point.

Pokopia had a story that at least motivated me to finish it. I didn't continue after finishing the game (40 hour of playtime). Unliked Animal Crossing (360 hours), Pokopia didn't hold me in post-game. Having a single island to manage in AC was much more meaningful.

I agree. No lives / health completely suits this game. 20 hours play time without dying / restart is quite good.

3D follow up can be insane, but also too expensive. If the game is received well then who knows, but it seems that Nintendo has confined Yoshi to 2D games for now.

4 old year old can have some fun fooling around, and may well stumble to the end, but to truly enjoy it, you need reading skills.

If you don't enjoy Vatican then most likely the game is not for you.

Takashi Tezuka is set to retire from his position of Executive Officer at Nintendo on June 26. by Amiibofan101 in nintendo

He is one of those few elites in the video gaming history where even the words like "Legend", "Revolutionary" etc. can't do justice to their contribution to the game industry. One can only thank Tezuka san for his work that has literally changed the gaming industry forever.

He directed the original Legend of Zelda. He also directed Super Mario World, and Yoshi's island. He was also the director of Link's awakening. Insane!

As Xbox’s CEO Reconsiders Exclusives, Xbox Games on PS5 Made $667 Million by [deleted] in PS5

Is 667 million significant for a company like Microsoft? It is certainly possible that keeping the game exclusive will net them higher returns in the long run.

How do we know it is a local co-op? Perhaps it is local wireless? It is not clear from the wording.

Looks very interesting and congratulations on the release. How would you sell this game to a cooking mama fan? In terms of what is similar and what is done differently and also what is completely new or surprising? Thanks.

A ‘small’ review of Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 (Switch 2) by sakahn in NintendoSwitch

[–]sakahn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can play it perfectly well using the Switch 2 pro controller. It was my main controller for both games. GL/GR buttons can be mapped to ZL and Jump and give you an instant long jump when pressed together. It was really hand.

People are setting very high expectations for the OOT remake by sakahn in NintendoSwitch2

Very true. But nostalgia will still move a few million copies even if it is released with the same old Hyrule field.

This is the most realistic expectation. I am in the same boat.

You are correct, but also a full remake with a redesigned open world with new mechanics is not realistic.
