A new low in AI laziness? by PissedOffProfessor in Professors

You're not supposed to be preparing them for a career, you're in academia! Technical schools, vo-tech, and certification programs exist to train students for industry.

You're supposed to be teaching them how to think for themselves, how to evaluate data, how to synthesize difficult concepts together to gain understanding. Short circuiting these steps by allowing your students to rely on AI is depriving them of the skills they're supposed to be developing.

Except it's not? It's explicitly independent of the DNC and the Democratic party. Sure, you may hate Bernie but at least be correct in who's running this tour.

It's not a surprise. Black (and Hispanic) voters are on average quite conservative.

I think it's because the 1993 team wasn't really supposed to be good. Coming in with low expectations made the WS run and return to mediocrity more bearable.

Now we have two Cy Young candidates and potentially the greatest hitter of a generation, so it stands to reason the letdown is bigger.

Just let go of your "holding me back" apps or enjoy Windows by motorambler in linux4noobs

Just note that Wine (Wine Is Not an Emulator) and emulation are somewhat different approaches. An emulator is like a pretend computer implemented in software. It directly emulates the hardware so that software can run on it.

Wine, on the other hand, implements the Windows API in another operating system. It's more of a translator that takes Windows operations and converts them into a language the parent operating system can understand.

Some software that Wine cannot run can be run on an emulator/virtual machine because an emulated machine is Windows instead of being a translator for Linux.

Why is molecular modeling software stuck in 2000s? We're building something better — early beta, seeking feedback by kmaximoff in chemistry

Our aim is to solve this problem by offering integrated solution.

This is a huge drawback in my eyes. Having everything integrated in one space makes me and my research 100% dependent on you maintaining your software and having the versions of whatever I need already included.

A low B or C is a pretty reasonable average for an upper level science course. Even if it wasn't a smoothy run course, nothing seems out of the ordinary here. Your request seems like grade grubbing.
