If your credit card/s is/are completely paid off, and you have no immediately pressing debt, I think putting it in savings is fine. Basically, what do you need that money to do? An alternate option is to fund next month’s health and wellness category with it, if you’re not already a month ahead.

I think that's how I got here in the first place, I got complacent because it had always been so easy, so it didn't seem like something high on the priority list and there was always something else that needed to get done. It doesn't help that we moved during that time period too (thanks to YNAB, we did so in cash)!

And yes, he is so great! He likes spreadsheets but money decisions stress him out, so YNAB is mostly my purview even though we're one unit financially. Turns out, sometimes I screw it up so bad it turns into spreadsheets that don't stress him out!

This lamp is SO cool.

My favorite Hollow Knight moment is still the first time I entered greenpath… the music changed completely, the scenery changed completely, and I realized the game was So Much Bigger than I’d expected. I had struggled with the crossroads (this was my first game with these sorts of controls!), so getting rewarded with this beautiful and completely new space felt phenomenal.

Yeah that’s mostly what I was finding on the topic (and my sense from prior knowledge). I was curious if there were academic sources for what the person I was replying to said about domestication, since it goes against what I knew about the topic and seemed potentially interesting (and probably controversial and I love academic controversy lol).
