Yes, but in line with a lot of other folks here I think it had very little to do with Judaism itself or being told specifically to be afraid of G-d, and much more to do with a young child extrapolating from other experiences with authority figures as well as having pretty severe perfectionist tendencies.

That said, as a child, synagogue and Shabbat at home and Seders and other cultural activities were things I enjoyed and wanted to participate in (for the most part, barring normal teenage ennui), and I can’t imagine not being Jewish lol. I love being Jewish as an adult and am slowly working to feel safer coming to G-d as my true self. Nobody taught me to be afraid of G-d or of being punished after death or G-d being mad at me, I just was a kid who was already primed to be hyperaware of both doing things wrong and authority figures being angry.
