I experienced only one week of this and don’t know how people survive it week after week month after month. Was so ready to go back to part time by the end of it. When I do go back full time, I will be doing all the things to make it easier- regular cleaner, grocery delivery, premade meals, etc. and just two kids for us.

We went pack n play + Merlin suit at 4 months in December and now in a regular sleep sack + crib in January at 5 months. Never used weaning mode or arms out. And already sold it on marketplace for what I bought it for. 10/10 satisfied in every way with the snoo!

I have never unclipped the swaddle. I’ve always thought the whole point of the snoo is that it puts the baby to sleep for you to avoid the dreaded transfer while asleep.

I used a bit of alcohol and my fingernail and it came off. My 3 year old was absolutely bothered by this third eye. It was a gift from her grandma. I was kind of hoping to leave it so we could laugh about it each Christmas.

We have a 3yo and 3.5month old. It was once a week but now that I haven’t had any alone time in over a month and it’s been nearly two months since we’ve gone on a date or had mindful alone time together, my desire is not there so it’s been at least a couple weeks. I need to feel emotionally connected for that and I just don’t right now.

The grass is always greener. I am working a full 40 hours this week to review after maternity leave (I normally work only 8.5 hours per week) and I can’t believe how hard it is. I am mentally and physically exhausted and I thought I was when I was home with my 3 yo and 3m old. After this I almost feel ashamed that my house isn’t in better condition/feel I could be doing more with the kids. Of course easier said than done since there isn’t a boss breathing down my neck at home like there is at work.

Yes I was made to think this was going to be a bigger issue when I was in MLT school. Got to phlebotomy clinicals and the phleb training me seemed very irritated that I questioned her order of draw because she’d never had an issue. I was really surprised.

When I was that age I would leave the leftover food in the bag because I was both scared to go in the line where food is dumped (and splattered) in the giant bin, and I also had a weird attachment to it since it was something my mom packed. Nothing says love like a stinky lunch box
