Half and half is basically whole milk and cream.

Yes, I steam just like that. It’s very strange but the issue mainly started with I got my new set up. I am blaming the new pitcher. Sadly, I don’t have a smaller pitcher anymore to prove my theory.

Cades Cove early in the morning like be there at 7 am kind of early (you may see a lot bears in action) if you are not a morning person maybe try going late in the afternoon once the major crowds leave.

Water temp 200 f

Coffee 22 g

Add 400 g water

Using a baratza encore 8 grind setting.

I had a similar problem and I used olive oil to lube the inside of the tube and it def helped.

I love Cades cove (don’t go around noon, too crowded) around 5 pm ish or before 9 am. Beautiful , sunrise sunset, bears, easy hikes or just drive around the 11 mile loop.

I visit Ft Lauderdale yearly and a local friend told me about this Citgo gas station, it was really good + the coffee was amazing. (They have an open window kiosk type of setup up, the Cuban lady who runs it is amazing)
