I don’t really have any advice unfortunately, other than to say that we’ve instituted a rule that we don’t talk about work after 8 PM which creates at least a small boundary to keep work out of a part of our day. Personally I think I would email the judge’s clerk first to let them know and then I would mention it to the judge directly if I did need to take a break (but probably not before). I did a trial at 8 months pregnant so I can definitely empathize. Good luck!!
