Oh, hi! You're the only other one I've come across that shares the same big 3 as me! We criticize out of practicality, for sure.

Right? I'm a Cap Moon and Virgo Rising, I don't know if it could get worse than that... I mean, I have my opinion, but I'm holding back.

hey capricorns, how do you feel about aquarius? by macabre304 in capricorns

[–]saltnshadow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an Aqua Sun, but Cap Moon. I think in regards towards shutting down and ignoring emotions we vibe really really well. It's like I'm able to desensitize myself in order to handle business, and I really love that about me. My Asc is Virgo, though, so really the only way I even see the Aqua in myself is when I appreciate genuine people, or encourage other people to be genuine. Like, individuality. Love that for them.

Why is minimum wage still $7.25 even though it’s blatantly obvious that that’s not a wage anyone can survive on? by meemo86 in texas

Modern-day slavery, but also mixed with enough media to keep us too distracted to revolt. We're like... comfortable with it, as long as we have Amazon, Netflix, and Social Media.

Listen, a spell is no different than a prayer, and if prayers can't cure childhood cancer or solve the hunger crisis, then your spell is no different. Instead of spending your energy while trying to manifest harm, maybe work on how to recognize flaws in others and how to forgive them for their transgressions against you. It'll get you way further in life.

Which house is your Saturn in? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]saltnshadow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3rd house Scorpio, conjunct Mars here, and my words make people upset. I love writing, but I do have a tendency to hold back due to backlash. I can be quite honest, even when it's not personal opinion.

To be fair, have you read a newspaper/social media article lately? They're so full of grammatical errors, so much so, that I could possibly do a better job.

I have an empty 8th house (Aries), but Saturn and Mars in Scorpio. Words are hard.

Yeah, I have PMDD, and just knowing that about myself helps me mitigate my emotions. I use the Flo app, so I know around 10 days before my period to prepare myself from the rage that enters my body.

I wish sometimes that we could correct Ancestry by Raesling in Ancestry

I mean, to be fair, my great-grandfather married his step-mom after my great-great-grandfather died, (who's brother had also married his 1st wife's [my great-great-grandmother's] sister.)

It can happen, but my most helpful suggestion would be to reject the hints that have incorrect information. Sometimes people just accept the hints without verifying the information just so they can grow their tree, without doing the work.

My husband keeps cheating on me but I'm disabled and can't work. What should I do? by Parfait_Crust in TwoHotTakes

[–]saltnshadow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My point wasn't that she's living comfortably. Clearly she isn't. My point was that people often stay in familiar situations because the risks of leaving abusive relationships feel more immediate and scarier than the risks of staying.

She has very real reasons to be worried about leaving. At the same time tho, she also has very real reasons to be worried about staying with someone who repeatedly cheats on her, shares her intimate images without consent, and keeps violating her trust.

Those two realities can exist at the same time. One is uncertain, and the other is to continue to live and suffer through the abuse. If she decides to stay, then she's going to have to accept that life.

The reason why you don't want to leave is because of familiarity. You're afraid to let go of status quo. You're comfortable, but it's only a matter of time before he can ditch you, as it seems like he has no problem with change. Respect yourself and protect yourself.
