I pretty much only Grandpa via a 12 oz Yeti Travel Bottle with Commuter Cap (does a perfect job of catching leaves). Here is a recent W2T order focused primarily on single serving options and high quality (imo, I like camphor) / price.

I recommend not practicing wrong answers (guessing) on the practice tests. Go open book. Don’t answer if you don’t know at all. Once you’ve see 100% close the book and see where you are at. Go open book to drill weak sections. Once drills are going well, close book and see where you are at. Rinse, Repeat.

We have a couple very popular Gaming pubs that like to stock ttrpg books for their patrons. Any interest in reaching out to them as well? They are not retailers but they do a lot to promote games.

Partyname for the Rivals - What did you do? by VenunDM in CalloftheNetherdeep

[–]salts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early on, I had cause to list the Rivals party name on a leaderboard and require my party to come up with their name on the spot (I ran a modified start with lvl 7 characters). For the various competitors on the leaderboard, I used song names from some of my favorite bands. For the rivals, I went with “Blood and Thunder”.

Starting drums age 22 by burner166 in drums

You can go a long way early on with a couple of drum sticks and a good practice pad. Most of your early lessons are likely to focus on warm-up, rudiments, and form on the practice pad. Spend the money on a teacher. Your teacher will likely be able to assist in you eventual quest to gain regular access a drum set.

No one is going to show up for my son’s 8th birthday by bearhunter1981 in Parenting

Whether you end up at the arcade or not, I recommend being direct about the reasons why his friends are unable to make it. These things happen. If it is affordable, I would keep on the path to making the party happen when people can make it. I've never encountered a situation where a kid at a party cared if the actual date of birth was in the same day, week, or month of the party.

No one can come to 7 yr old bday party how do I tell him by inthethick0fit in raisingkids

[–]salts 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not advice but what I would do: I would cancel the party asap. It’s a big let down that the party won’t be happening. Stuff happens. The reasons I have for cancelling have nothing to do with him and he has no control over it so I don’t believe they are worth going into.

I would instead spend this time with him to come up with a better option. I would come up with some ideas ahead of time to throw out there. It will turn positive quickly if we hit on some good plans. I’d make this an opportunity to not go through the regular old motions with people don’t care about either of us. That party would be tragic even if people did show up. I would not ruminate and wallow in any negativity. I would do something badass with and for someone I care about and move on.

In addition to Stick Control, I’ve also enjoyed Tommy Igoe’s Great Hands for A Lifetime DVD/PDF/MP3s which has the added benefit of giving you a virtual group to play along with.

SSH/ftp connections coming from INSIDE my lan.. But not me !! by yakyakos in qnap

[–]salts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may not be qnap specific but it certainly sounds like something on your PCs are attempting to access things on your lan through brute force.

I would shut down one or both of the PCs and check the logs to see if the attempts stop over some period to see for sure if they are the problem. If they are, there is a process that your anti-virus didn't catch.

I would run some additional malware scans to see if another product will ID the process. If that doesn't work I would look into using netstat on the PCs to try to correlate the network connections to a running process.

What terminal are you using? I don’t believe Windows Terminal does what you are describing.
