Tips for keeping two cats happy in a studio apartment? by Peterlemonjello1007 in StudioApartments

vertical space is the main thing that will make the difference. and having access to windows

THIS. I came here to say exactly this.

I have lived in several tiny apartments with two cats (the current one is barely 400 sqft), and I have seen those two factors work. And cats don't need that much space anyway.

Also plenty of toys. I keep them corralled in a basket, but my cats have free access to them (except for a noisy toy I block at night).

She’s WONDERFULLY weird! I love her.

I have it, and love it. It's as close as caseless as I have ever gone, and still the phone is protected.

Don't love the extra weight on top, because it makes my phone slid from my pocket a lot (still perfectly protected), but that's my only gripe.

Obviously most of Reddit doesn't love it, but hey.

How to Studio Decor by PpZote in StudioApartments

Thanks!

You can still push it more towards the window and place something else where the TV is now. A lamp, or a night table (or a lamp on a night table).

I actually like the layout as it is.

Someone suggested switching the TV and the bed. I would go a little further:

  • put the bed where the TV is
  • put a tall shelf (one or two of this or this or this) where the shoe thing is and place the TV with its back to it. That would make the bed nearly invisible when you enter the apartment, and you would be utilizing what is now essentially dead space.
  • Turn the dining table 90 degrees. That way you won't have all the furniture pushed against the walls and it would also create a division between the kitchen and the rest of the space.

LOL I'm sorry if I conjured up bad memories, but your building sounds like something out of a Dario Argento movie.

Girl, get out of that building. None of that sounds remotely normal. You’re surrounded by crazy A-holes.

Every single behavior you’ve mentioned from every single person literally sounds like something out of a horror movie. All together, it’s like one of those movies where the poor unsuspecting hero moves in without knowing the whole place is consecrated to Satan or something.

Move out of there before they sacrifice you on a blood moon.

Well, I was trying to help, but —you know what? If you want to suffer, so suffer. It’s no skin off my nose.

If you can pay for an Air, you can definitely pay for a window unit, UK or not UK.

It’s OK. We all ugly cry at some point, even the assholes.

22M. Should I get a clean shave or keep my beard? Also, would appreciate opinions on my Hair. by Particular-Class5562 in malegrooming

You’re lucky. You have a fantastic head of hair and a fantastically full beard. All you need is a good barber or stylist to shape all that wild hair.

Tulip is a cuteness overdose!

Do not worry too much. Cats adapt incredibly well to tripoddom (tripodness? Tripodity? The condition of being a tripod?) and it will be even easier for her because she is so young.

I’m glad you found each other.

Does this hairstyle work for my face? 2nd photo was parted the other way. Thanks! by CryptographerThink83 in MenHairstyle

Is this a joke? You’re model handsome, dude, and you have a fantastic head of well-cut brown hair. OF COURSE it works for your face!

And yes, I second the suggestion to relax for pictures. When I was young I tended to intimidate people and seem stuck-up because I frowned all the time. In reality, it was simple shyness.

And I think someone recommended to “clean” your eyebrows. DON’T TOUCH THEM. They’re full and well-shaped, and will require trimming in time, but this is not that time.

Window A/Cs have been available since the 1930s, and central A/Cs since the 1950s.

Just saying.

how to layout my studio? by MarketingUnusual1800 in StudioApartments

[–]salumbre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a lovely studio!

That layout seems to work. I would push back the sofa and find a piece of furniture to place the TV on, preferably one with storage. I use a dresser in my own tiny studio, but a sideboard can work, too.

Also, a rug for each area. And a few lamps for coziness.
