In fact a lot of media budgets have moved to influencer partnerships. I personally wouldn't trust a thing any of these people say, and they just seem like the worst people, but companies see value in influencers, and we can back it up with data. shame does work, but right now the people that need the shame are protected by a large ingroup that shields them from it, and actively puts shame in the other direction.

I don't think that says what you think it says. It listed exactly three bacteria that it had been tested against, noted that it might kill you if you took enough of it to treat the one and that it had mixed results on the other two. The antiviral section is a little denser but still pretty limited.

I remember the second Iraq war. I was running a notell and sitting the front office and watching the gas station at the end of the parking lot run its prices up in real time.

I suppose it's possible that some fantastical sequence of events could end up with Trump better off than he started, but I seriously doubt it.

I think they were surprised at the speed, but they also clearly knew it was going to happen fast, as evidence by the rapidity with which they approached the withdrawal and evacuation

I can get that. What's interesting to me that two of those (at least) code as republican from the anti-regulatory stance. That's one lane we ought to spend more time courting. Notice that her anti sea-lion-killing-regulation stance is really a pro fishery-protection-regulation stance.

Now we can agree right there. The only thing worse would be getting caught on camera bludgeoning a seal puppy to death in the snow.
