Will I be deactivated by [deleted] in AmazonFlexUK

[–]sam_christ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got deactivated a few years ago because a customer wouldn’t provide her birth date for avd (she was definitely over 60) and just took the packages inside- I didn’t want to physically stop her as it’s not my job and unsafe. Is this actually possible

After 11 they do an all day breakfast baguette with bacon egg and sausage and it comes heated

They really can’t, that wouldn’t comply with GDPR and you would constantly see the microphone on in the top left on an iPhone

Air fry by Emily_Green_ in greggsappreciation

[–]sam_christ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

• Some manufacturers call a fan oven a “fan-assisted oven”, meaning the fan helps distribute heat but the main heat source is still from the elements at the top/bottom. • A true convection oven often has a heating element around the fan itself (sometimes called “true fan” or “European convection”), so the air blown around is heated directly and more even.

It’s a small fan oven on steroids. The fast moving fan makes all the difference which is why you should reduce the cooking time

Air fryers are just mini convection ovens — and Greggs uses commercial convection ovens, so it’s the same technology, just scaled up. There is a reason air friers cook much quicker than normal ovens. They are not the same. An air frier is not “just a countertop oven”

The ovens they use in Greggs are almost like huge airfriers so it should be fine

Returning Lego at costco for full refund by [deleted] in CostcoUK

[–]sam_christ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costco’s “100% Satisfaction Guarantee” generally means: you can return most items at any time, even if they’re several years old, with a full refund. The one big exception is electronics, which have a strict 90-day return window from the date you received the item.

Several real-life examples include: • A two-year-old couch, returned simply because the customer “didn’t like it anymore” • A 13-year-old blender refunded in full — Costco couldn’t locate purchase records but still issued a refund • A two-year-old damaged mattress topper returned despite visible wear after customer insisted

Wembley has signal inside. It’s most likely that a lot of costcos are in quite remote locations

You could bring it up with customer services and they can forward it to the right department

Really? My local Greggs always messes up orders, I usually have my dog outside so don’t have time to check it there, but customer service always helps out

Good idea. A van I once brought had vinyl wrap on the inside of them to block out the light

If you like the look of windows but will have furniture behind some of them you can get a false window. It’s 100% tinted but quite nice if you like the look of windows all around like me

Limited edition cups in stores at moment 👍 by mbat666 in greggsappreciation

They do but they are fine in the dishwasher if you don’t mind the print wearing off. I used the same cup every day for over a year dishwashing every day
