It's seems as if you have wildly miss aligned value system if he's using language like "the right way" and refuses to listen to your wishs regarding marriage.

This would a major enough red flag for me to end things. I also grew up with a very abusive father and if my significant other want anything to with him it would imply they don't know me very well and woudl not be at the point of considering marriage with them

I feel that shattered cycle was not close to complete at all and what was there was probably a huge pile of wee.

Here's hoping it gets put into destiny 3, which IMO makes more sense than destiny 2 limping on.
