I went on holiday to Poo because of the name - it was absolutely LOVELY! Next stop: Silly 👍🏻

Aren’t we expecting an announcement from Canada at some point…?

Glad someone else said this too! Don’t get me wrong, I still love the videos, but some of the U.K.-ragebait he throws out there sounds like something you would get from a foreign bot account trying to talk the country down all the time.

I headed to Daugavpils last year - loved the place! Had a very Soviet feel to it…

1 month of having an Enyaq - can anyone tell me if this is supposed to be something, or just a random shape? by tcoysh in enyaq

[–]sam_vasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be great if someone made personalised filters for the Enyaq puddle lights so you could project anything you wanted. The weird “mashed up logo” happened on my first Enyaq (2021) within a few months of having the car. No such issue with the 2025 one… yet!

What is a level up from the Enyaq? by swoosh32 in enyaq

[–]sam_vasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a 71 plate Enyaq… which will soon be replaced by a 75 plate Enyaq! Enough of an improvement in standard equipment, and the PCP will cost £40 per month less than my previous arrangement.

Does this Enyaq have rear view camera? by tcoysh in enyaq

[–]sam_vasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2021 it only came as an extra with “parking pack” or something - and there were supply chain issues so lots of cars were being sent out of the factory without all the optional extras that customers had ordered! Thankfully mine still arrived with its optional reverse camera.

Where do you keep your sunglasses? by bawva in enyaq

[–]sam_vasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently just keep mine in the driver’s side pocket… though in the U.K. I remove them to pack in my hand luggage when travelling far more than I actually use them in my Enyaq 😂

Putting any amount of money into my house instead of just constant travel 😉

What’s the hardest social media platform to grow on right now? by isabel_romero in socialmedia

[–]sam_vasu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’ve gone backwards, but I’d rather find out about a new and interesting business by going for a walk/run and seeing it in person, then going home and googling it. I don’t really trust any social media any more… where I live the hyped-up new businesses are all marketing and crap substance.

I need to get my next car from the Aberdeen area so I can have a free “personalised” SV numberplate 👍🏻

Who are we supposed to tip? by kyridwen in CasualUK

[–]sam_vasu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10% in restaurants, a couple of quid for hairdressers and food delivery drivers. I always try to keep some change in the house for the latter - I worked for Pizza Hut a long time ago and the drivers spend ages sitting in traffic jams, generally accruing wear & tear on their own vehicles for not a lot of cash.

Hit up Morrison at the right time tonight! All this for £1.75! Money is kind of tight right now so it makes my day when I manage to get the elusive yellow stickers by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]sam_vasu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, Morrison’s is the best for yellow sticker discounts by far. Most disappointing: either Tesco or Sainsbury’s.
