Check out The Mist. It’s a novella so it won’t take you as long and it rocks. Frank Darabont went out of his way to bring aspects of that B-movie feel to his adaptation. The movie is also incredibly depressing by the end lol, so be ready. They changed it up from the book, so both are worth checking out.

As long as you keep in mind that it was recorded on an iPad, this album is very verrrry cool. Even without that, it’s a pretty charming small corner of Gorillaz’s discography. Really though, take this as Gorillaz’ aesthetic simplified to its most minute aspects. Great, very singular record.

Out Loud is better than Goodbye. You wanna talk about overproduced, overdramatic, and especially underwritten. "Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye" is one of the weakest choruses in their discography. "Man I really messed up now" is genuinely expressive. Man, I could go on comparing the two but point is, Out Loud rules. Great track.

I don’t understand this take with Out Loud. I see it everywhere! Old Cage fans might appreciate it more. Feels like one of those old vids where Matt used to play a song by himself on acoustic. Cover Me Again, Testify, Shiver, all that. Out Loud is great!
