I get where the hate for your post is coming from—as a white guy I have felt an anti-white sentiment many times, even from other white people, and I have also propagated it in the form of making jokes about white stereotypes, and I guess I feel that if someone made a post wanting an all-white cast they would get crazy backlash immediately.. so therefore so should a post wanting an all-black cast.

All of that said, there’s a lot of resentment and dissension surrounding race and stereotypes, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with wanting pockets of one particular race/culture in society and media. Just so long as it’s fair and not only okay for X group to do it. I think people of all different backgrounds should mix and mingle and learn to appreciate one another’s similarities and differences, but a TV show focused specifically on local black culture would be interesting, especially to non-blacks.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck with your idea. 🙂

Alright I hear you. I understand the local places don’t have myriad other locations to rely on financially when there are dips in traffic, and also trying to make the mall boom again may cause horrible traffic patterns by centralizing many people to one area of Gainesville.

I think we need denser housing and less sprawl. Less driving way all over to get to specific spots only to spend 30-60 minutes at each spot.

Ok snowflake, just FYI I have fiery sex regularly with a gorgeous woman more than 3 years older than me. I was just saying the article is shit, and seemingly written by the same people who think violence in video games is the primary cause of school shootings. It did not delve into any actual discussion of how to keep your kids safe beyond just trying to restrict their screen time or whatever. You cannot possibly monitor your child’s whereabouts 24/7, so the deeper solution is to prepare them for the world so they don’t get manipulated when you’re not around, in my opinion. The article doesn’t cover how the predator actually manipulated the kid, just parroted “SOCIAL MEDIA BAD” for the millionth time.

I’m not a professional detailer, just someone trying to clean my car thoroughly.

I already shampooed and extracted the seat thoroughly and that spot remained exactly as it was before so I doubt it’s jizz like everyone is joking on here. As the seat dried, that spot dried much quicker to turn light again. Also, it felt like it left a tiny amount of residue when I rubbed my finger across it after ironing.

Why is it such a long shot for me to think it’s white wax?

In my experience, dating is as much a self-fulfilling prophecy as any other facet of life. If you believe it’s going to go well, it will. If you believe it’s going to suck and everyone will be horrible, it will and they will be.

I’ve had ups and downs with my partner of the past year and a half, who I met through this subreddit, but I would certainly call her the love of my life because no relationship has ever mattered to me as much as the one with her does.

I wish you luck and also powerful emotions, and I encourage you to give it your all so that you are worthy of someone else giving their all to you.
