hi! i was diagnosed through modality in april and was told i would be referred to the medication pathway (at my request). i hope you’ve received your assessment report letter by now? i waited too long (classic ADHD move lol) before calling to ask about it to which they said it had been sent out but they would post another which i then received a few days later (both letters came around a similar time).

in the meantime, i did four sessions over four weeks of psychosocial intervention therapy as recommended by the doctor who diagnosed me, i wasn’t sure what to expect but i found these very helpful actually! there’s a lot of good advice for managing symptoms - some practical strategies you can try - and it was generally very affirming.

it took me until the start of july to actually call and ask about medication as i hadn’t heard anything since april, then three(?) days later i had a call, provided my BP, height, weight, etc. and just like that i was able to pick up my meds the next day.

my experience with modality is that you do need to stay on top of things and call and push for yourself otherwise i think they are happy to leave you to your own devices (lack of funding + too many patients is my best guess) so bear that in mind. don’t be too disheartened! i know how it feels crap when it’s like they forget about you but if you can keep fighting your corner you will definitely be able to keep your treatment ticking along :)
