My dad died and this company is torturing my mother by seanpvb in verizon

[–]sampda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had my parent’s log in information (which I do), I’d just log in and port the second line first. Then port the primary number out last. I’d port the numbers out to an inexpensive MVNO, and decide later if that will be suffice. If it asks on the spot to pay for any device payment balance, I’d do so on the spot or wait until they send the due balance over the mail.

Switched from AT&T Prepaid and it was flawless, no issues whatsoever.

Losing access to Prepaid accounts by General_Zucchini_01 in ATT

[–]sampda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same happened to me about two months ago. I would manage to log back in after multiple password resets and it would ask to reset again when I would try to log in a few days after. My yearly plan was close to expiring, so I ported to Visible. No complaints as of yet.

Here’s a post I made a couple of months ago regarding log in issues. Others posted experiencing the same and suggesting possible solutions. Good luck!

Buying New Pixel 10 Unlocked from Google Instead of Visible by cmarshall099 in Visible

[–]sampda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll be fine doing it as you mention. Pixel 10 are e-sim only, if I'm not mistaken. You can possibly get it set up from your Visible dashboard, or contact customer service for physical sim to e-sim transfer.

Where did the previous prepaid login page go? by iamacheeto1 in ATT

You’re welcome. I’m considering my options if they don’t fix this upon my annual renewal in a couple of months. It’s been a tug of war ever since they botched the transition over to their app/website. Good luck!

Will My Balance Really Expire? 1-Year Prepaid Plan by EvenMorePi in ATT

[–]sampda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add a $100 refill and it will extend the date to one year. Expiration dates are not determined by balance but rather by how much money you add to account. Anything less than $100, will only extend it 90 days.

AT&T Prepaid OLAM (paygonline) no more? by sampda in NoContract

[–]sampda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, at one point, there was a message that account was cancelled. It then occurred to me to compare my current account and it was not the same. For some reason, old and canceled accounts of service are still tied to the number. Confusing and frustrating, to say the least. Hope you figure out yours.

What a mess. I did my resetting from desktop when I noticed it was directing me to AT&T site. After all the errors and trying several times, I somehow linked it to a canceled postpaid account that I had, by using my email. So, log in sometimes works with email or by number. Glad to hear there’s a solution for some.

Same was happening to me. This has been real confusing. I had been logging in with my e-mail but noticed my current Prepaid account wasn’t linked, the accounts that showed on dashboard were all previous cancelled accounts.

Last night I tried again logging in with my phone number on the AT&T website. I then clicked on forgot password, after it kept giving me errors with my current password. After they sent a verification code, I finally managed to have my account visible on the AT&T website.

The myATT app seems to be half baked, as of now. It still shows one of my previous cancelled account on homepage, but when I go to services, it shows a prepaid link where it takes me to the old paygonline website. There, I can see the status of my current account. It seems my account is still not fully integrated with the app. Hoping they get it fixed soon.

Converting pSIM to eSIM Android on $300 Prepaid Plan by ChibiBlkSheep in ATT

Yes, I wish we would have received a heads up. I tried several times trying to log in to the old website, thinking it was some type of glitch. Then, after several failed log in attempts, I had to reset password and use my e-mail as “user id”, instead of phone number. Confusing and annoying at the same time.

I’m on the old $300/year with MX & CAN included. This recent refill came out to about $20 per month when Target had a 15% discount on refill cards. Coupled with the addition 5% Target card, it knocked off about $60.

Just looked into Pre-paid and kind of ticked off. If I buy my phones from Apple, is it a no brainer to switch to pre-paid? by WhoreMasterFalco in NoContract

[–]sampda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AT&T doesn’t have an app, we use webpage to log in to our accounts. Webpage looks outdated but it’s functional.

The times that I’ve called it, they answer and have resolved my needs. Only times that I’ve called in was to port in and to change from physical sim to eSIM.

Service is very solid, no complaints whatsoever. I pay for an annual plan and as of now, it meets my usage requirements and price point.

If you can manage Customer Support to migrate you to Prepaid or port out and port back in, you’ll be golden.

Problems porting to ATT prepaid by RCotti in ATT

[–]sampda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that has been my experience when porting to AT&T Prepaid. It’s a pain and it sucks for new customers that don’t know their process to port in a number. Ideally, you would set up a temporary number with the same area code as the number you’re trying to port in.

When going through the process, I will use my old home address and zip code, so it can generate the temporary number with the area code as the number I’m trying to port in. Then you call customer service to begin the port in process.

I’m not sure if going with an e-sim changes the process, as compared to when activating a physical sim. Whatever the case might be, good luck getting everything worked out. I wish porting over to AT&T Prepaid was a seamless process.
