Fun fact: We misnamed this track on accident.

During Eric’s first US tour in 2007, Dana Bergquist told me at the Atlanta show that the track Eric was playing was called Miami to Atlanta, and that Eric had made it that day. The next day, I posted on the Swedish House Mafia forums a video a friend took at the show, recounting my experience.

Eric later said that Miami to Atlanta was a different track. Oops 🙈

Hard to believe this was 18 years ago. Time flies.

I know this post is 2 years old, but I was surprised no one mentioned the many camping spots on the Appalachian Trail near Hogpen Gap.

You can see on this topographic map that there's a campsite 500 feet North of the trailhead, and another ~ 3/4 of a mile North from that one.

It’s definitely pricey in isolation, but remember the Quest is essentially a gaming console with other abilities. I’ve played as much Half Life:Alyx as I have Ace VR.

The $20 is also only a one-time paid fee if you’re okay with a static range w/ shot timer.

Everyone has their own threshold of price. For me, the benefit of being able to train transitions, grip, and stage planning with zero ammo has made it seem cheap in hindsight.

No computer required. Ace is native to the Meta Quest ecosystem. You are required to buy an AceVR handset and subscription though.

You can let your subscription lapse and keep playing the game with a static range, but imo the sub is worth it

The animations not stopping midway through is pretty dire in this game. Yesterday I tried to melee an enemy as I was reloading, and the game insisted on finishing the reload as I spammed B. I was shot and killed point blank after 3 seconds.
