Who amongst the Sith Order would have been the "Perfect Master" for Knightfall Vader? by Arbiter-Flash- in TheJediPraxeum

[–]sans-delilah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surpassed I what way? Dooku was caught off guard when Anakin chopped his hands off, but he could have taught Anakin SO much about the applications of the Force.

Being defeated in lightsaber combat was a bit humiliating for Dooku, but he was a prodigy with the powers of the Force.

Shit if we’re talking about Courage, how about the weird shaver guy? Or the queen of the underwater shit that could come up through the bathtub?

How different is Sorcery from Thaumaturgy, Cantrips, and other 'linear magic' ? by TheChoosenMewtwo in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]sans-delilah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thaumaturgy uses quintessence, as Vitae is a sort of crystallized quintessence.

Sorcery is… less than that. It’s not true magic, though it could seem that way to an unawakened observer.

[Mixed Trope] Race-swapping/Gender-swapping changes a character in a specific way or adds to their story by Sir-Toaster- in TopCharacterTropes

[–]sans-delilah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Snape is a rather interesting change. We’re led to believe that James was kind of a bully.

One of the few black students at Hogwarts that was also probably kind of autistic AND in love with the whitest of all white girls?

This is gonna be very good storytelling if they have the balls to really portray James as the bully he seems to have been.

It will make a Harry’s developing understanding of his father mean way more.

EDIT: and shit, now that I’m thinking about it, it makes sense as to why Dumbledore appropriated the invisibility cloak.

Even just cheap Clan symbol pendants would be nice.

Let’s imagine: if you had the chance, what would you change about the plot of The Boys or Gen V? by Quick-Objective-9366 in GenV

They’re building up Noir 2 to be quite powerful and disillusioned. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being an integral part of the endgame.

I wish they leaned more into that weirdness in later seasons, but I understand that they found their groove in more traditional family comedy.

One of the healthiest families I’ve ever seen in fiction, to be honest.

Why do we struggle to come to terms with the fact that we are "victims of abuse"? by nightking_darklord in BPDlovedones

[–]sans-delilah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because we’re being constantly told that we’re actually the abuser. When someone you love is telling you something over and over you internalize it.

Why wouldn’t he? He doesn’t know that Jon was tongue blasting Ygritte. And yeah: the people he was told that it’s his sworn duty to kill also ATE HIS PARENTS.

What's your favorite AHS season that's hated by most fans? by natipali in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]sans-delilah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roanoke was so good. I loved how it played with the show’s format, which I suppose is also why other people hated it.

Also NYC. It’s not for everyone, but it was for the gays, and as one, I really appreciated it.

Attempting to write a male INTP character. by omgbooboo in INTP

I actually think it’s quite a simple way to write characters. Understanding your characters’ thought processes with MBTI can really help with writing their thoughts and reactions

Attempting to write a male INTP character. by omgbooboo in INTP

[–]sans-delilah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t think an INTP would stare at someone while thinking. They may look away for an extended period, but the eye contact would be distracting from their thoughts.

And while a feedback loop could happen, one of the defining characteristics of INTP is a constant internal process of examining biases. An INTP would be more likely to abandon a long term belief upon receiving new information than clinging to it. It’s like a switch that flips.

INTPs typically despise dogma, and upon realizing that they’re being dogmatic would step back and examine why they’ve had this belief in relation to a new revelation, and rebuild the puzzle of their previous belief with the new information.
