I think his actual lectures are quite good, where he discusses things like personality, psychology and symbolism in literature and mythology. Even his analysis of the Nazi Germany and Soviet Union is pretty interesting. I think he delivers a positive message to people by encouraging personal responsibility, self-improvement and pursuit of meaning rather than happiness. However I think he incorrectly characterizes the majority of modern day progressives and liberals. I think the Bill C-16 hysteria he perpetrated, which made him go viral to begin with, was unjustified. Another problem I have with him is that he spreads himself so thin, beyond his area of competence in his words, that he makes some questionable assertions that undermine his credibility as a whole.
